Why not drop some smoke while the troops are approaching, then when it clears they are already in the bad guys faces? Is it not done because it also obscures the bad guys from the attacking guys view? Regarding the video showing the APC's attacking across that giant open field: Could some mortar rounds or artillery rounds be dropped in front of the orcs to put out smoke like a smoke grenade, but huge? I've always wondered about this watching the videos of the WWII beach landings. Is the Orc personality that fatalistic? Have they been told the Ukes are going to torture them and kill them, even if they surrender? I doubt it is a "warrior pride" ethos like the Japanese had. Trench bunker vid: What would be a better way to go about that? I am guessing flamethrowers are not considered OK for Orc barbecue? Do they make some sort of small napalm/fire grenade that could be used, or would that be too dangerous to carry around? Satchel charge? After watching dozens of grenade vids where they blow up really close to folks, they are much less lethal than I thought.Īlso regarding the trench bunker vid: Why on earth aren't the guys in the bunker shouting to surrender? It seems like once you are cornered like that, you are out of options. OK, a couple of questions on these videos, and the one where they were chucking grenades into the trench bunker. I too consumed the Disinformation, as I supported the Patriot Act, as well as Participated in OEF/OIF, and parroted the lines about how honest and ethical the military was as an institution while participating in the charade that was Unit Status Reporting in the 1990s, which, in our defense, was some of the best fiction writing of the decade. It is hard for me to judge others for consuming Disinformation when the only thing on most shelves (left or right) is pre-packaged Disinformation that we refer to as "Narratives'. BTW, I agree with you on the hygiene needs of our discourse, but I have also reached the "Don't hate the player hate the game" point for a lot of GD posters in other forums, as for information consumers, it takes a real search for the Truth. When even the Local/State/Federal levels of Government and our corporate overlords are supporting "UnAmerican Values", to the point of financing them with Millions$, as well as sponsoring assaults common sense and decency (LBGTQ grooming and so forth), what objective standard do we use to enforce discipline among ourselves? Especially when yesterday's "conspiracy theories" and "disinformation campaigns" turn out to be the truth, at which point the whole series of lies and censorship is written off as "old news" and a new cycle of lies begins.
